Solution Focussed Therapy (SFT)

This goal oriented approach is excellent for those who prefer a focus on finding solutions rather than dwelling on problems. Emphasis is placed on a person’s strengths and resources. SFT is future focused, collaborative, and empowering with a focus on making small, incremental changes which will serve as the building blocks for growth, change and future success. SFT can be effective for making change and improvement within a brief number of sessions, making it a cost-effective option for those who want to focus on solutions and change. SFT can also be integrated into an overall treatment plan alongside other approaches.
